Age Limit

• Maximum 30 years for General and other candidates.
• 32 - 35 years for Junior Draughting Officer posts for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/ DCs, BCs, BCMs, and Destitute Widows of all castes.
• No Maximum age limit for Junior Technical Assistant / Junior Engineer posts for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/ DCs, BCs, BCMs, and Destitute Widows of all castes.

Pay Scales

• Junior Draughting Officer/ Junior Technical Assistant: ₹ 35400 - 112400 Level 11 (Revised Scale)
• Junior Engineer: ₹ 35900 - 113500 Level 13 (Revised Scale).

Educational Qualifications

• Junior Draughting Officer: A Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from any University or Institution awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training of the concerned State Government. 
• Junior Technical Assistant: Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification. (AND) Must possess a Diploma in Handloom Technology obtained from the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Salem or Varanasi or from any other recognized Institute of Handloom Technology. (OR) Diploma in Textile Manufacture obtained from the Technological Diploma Examination Board, Madras or the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu.
• Junior Engineer: Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Selection Process

• Objective Type (OMR Method) Examination
• Certificate Verification at their own expenses.

• ₹ 100/- is payable online through Net Banking / Credit card / Debit card on or before the last date of submission of the online application. 
• Applicants can avail themselves of the exemption from paying the examination fees as per eligibility criteria.
