Applicants are eligible to apply for a Full-Funded Irish Government Scholarship to Study Full-Time Masters or Ph.D. Degree Programs at Irish universities. Financial Coverage

  • A Stipend of €16,000 Per Annum
  • Contribution to Fees including Non-EU Fees, up to a maximum of €5,750 per annum
  • Eligible direct research expenses of €2,250 per annum.

Eligibility Criteria

  • You can apply if you are an international student as well as a student from a European country.
  • Scholarships are available to students of any age.
  • To be eligible for a Masters, a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • To qualify for a Ph.D., you must have a Bachelor’s or Masters's Degree.
  • Students who are awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
  • If the results of the Undergraduate Examination are not available at the time of application, the Council may issue a temporary scholarship offer if the scholar’s bachelor’s or equivalent degree outcome is a first-class or upper second-class honours.
